World Premiere of The King of Nerac in New York
The King of Nerac had its World Premiere at the 24th annual New York Jewish Film Festival, presented by The Jewish Museum and the Film Society of Lincoln Center. The two screenings on 20th and 21st January 2015 as part of the Festival were both be followed by a Q&A with David Breuer-Weil and the Directors of the film. The festival’s 47 features and shorts from 11 countries provided a diverse global perspective on the Jewish experience.
The film was reviewed by Steve Kopian of Unseen Films wrote, ‘This is a fantastic look at an artist and creativity. It’s a glorious film that overwhelms the eye, the heart and the mind. It’s a film that is a work of art in its own right.’ He goes on to say that, ‘This is one of the best films on art and creation that I’ve seen.’
StageBuddy listed The King of Nerac among the ‘5 Films Not to Miss at FilmLinc’s New York Jewish Film Festival’ saying that this ‘is a little gem of a film.’
